Bogdan Albu, Trinity ’03. Bogdan’s family moved to the U.S. from Bucharest, Romania, in 1987, and settled in Washington State outside Seattle. While at Duke, Bogdan’s academic interests included creative writing and visual art, English and Economics. After graduation, Bogdan worked at a variety of enterprises before heading to law school at the University of Washington. Bogdan now lives in California, where he is practicing law.

Lisa Campoli graduated from Emory University with a BS in biology, and completed her juris doctor from the Duke School of Law in May 2002. She is now working as an associate at Reed Smith in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Kate Cornwell is from Littleton, Colorado, and graduated from the University of Colorado with a BSN. She completed the MSN, Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Program through the Duke School of Nursing in December 2002. Kate is now a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Nurse, Memorial Hermann Children’s Hospital, Department of Neonatology, University of Texas Medical School in Houston, Texas.

Bonnie Millar received her Masters of Environmental Management from the Nicholas School of the Environment.  Her particular concentration is resource ecology.  Before coming to Duke, Bonnie lived in Washington, DC and is a graduate of Davidson College in North Carolina.

David S. Moon started the MBA program at the Fuqua School of Business in the fall of 2001. He was born in South Korea, grew up in Memphis, TN, and earned his Bachelor’s of Electrical Engineering and Master’s of Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech. He worked for Ford Racing and Ford Motor Company and has also served on the staff of campus ministries in Ann Arbor and Atlanta. He is an avid fly fisher and automotive performance enthusiast.

Mary Paden received her M.S. in pediatric nursing in December 2001 and a certificate in pediatric acute care in May 2002. She is now working as a pediatric nurse practitioner at Danville Regional Medical Center in Danville, Virginia.

Christie Phipps Page completed a Master of Divinity at Duke’s Divinity School.  She grew up in Kansas, and has travelled extensively.  She is interested in questions of materialism and contemporary religious life as well as questions of national identity. Christie was married in the summer of 2002. She is currently an Associate Pastor at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church ( in Hickory, NC. She lives in Harmony, NC with her husband, Shane, who is the Senior Pastor at Harmony United Methodist Church.

Peter Woodson received his Masters of Environmental Management from Duke’s Nicholas School of the Environment in coastal environmental management and his M.B.A. from the Fuqua School of Business. He is now working for General Dynamics Armament and Technical Products as the manager of business development in Burlington, Vermont.
