Indigeniety  / (De)coloniality / @rtDuke University, April 30 – May 3, 2014

INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP AND EXHIBITION (click for the exhibition site)

THE WORKSHOP: we take the word “workshop” seriously and differentiate it from “conferences” or “symposia.”  We could have also named it “seminar.”  What we mean by this is that the overarching goal of the workshop is to explore the inter-relations between the three words in the title. Consequently, there are no panel titles and there is no paper title. That is for the simple reason that we would like to explore indigeneity, decoloniality and @art in their dependence, independence, and inter-dependence.

Live streaming of the workshop will take place starting on Thursday, May 1, 9:30am
