Savvy Senate: Resource highlighting key Canadian Senate documents; contains documents that focus specifically on such issues as Afghanistan, abortion, aging, autism, climate change, charities, health care, palliative care, international relations, seniors and more.  The Activity Indexgives a quick summary of current initiatives in each session of Parliament. Initiatives include legislation, committee reports and witnesses heard, as well as special debates and studies in progress. The sections Senator of the Month and Quips and Quirks present interesting, and sometimes little known facts about Senate life and activity, and the people who make it all work.

Brains Trust presents a selection of independent studies and legislation on a variety of topics. The Senate is one of Canada’s foremost brains trusts. Committee studies and critical reviews of proposed legislation are featured in this section.
